We call the Cotter leadership team our “Cotter Resource Team” as we are a resource to all aspect of our Cotter community. Even though we pride ourselves on great leadership skills and work hard towards illuminating the best leader within ourselves, we call ourselves as a Resource Team. When you think about the traditional leadership pyramid with the leaders being at the top of the pyramid, at Cotter House, we flip that model on it’s head and our Resource Team is at the bottom there to serve the needs of our residents, their families and our entire care team. As a Resource Team member, our responsibilities take on many forms, from direct care support to helping staff with personal needs. As a Cotter Resource Team member, there is no task to big or too small, we do whatever it takes to allow our Cotter care team best their best for residents and each other. (“Be their best”) Having our care teams best interest in mind allow our care team to have our residents best interest in mind. We look forward to you meeting our Resource Team in-person.
Greg Cini
Greg Cini is the Co-owner of Cotter House Central Ohio and has worked with many of the top senior living organizations as a consultant for more than 20 years. His experience with Dementia Care models around the world helped shape his view on what the industry was missing. However, his most relevant experience came when his family cared for his grandmother-in-law and most recently his mother, making sure they were safe, healthy and living their best life in spite of the disease. As the founder, President and most importantly Culture Curate, Greg aims to change the way the industry cares for those living with dementia by leveraging the latest in nutrition, fitness, research and technologies bolstered by hiring and leading the right-hearted people with a deep passion for this work.
Don Kenney Jr.
Don Kenney Jr. is a second-generation real-estate developer and one of the founders of Cotter House Central Ohio. Born and raised in Central Ohio, he has a passion to give back to the community that raised him. Don had a vision of bringing first class Dementia Care that would be locally owned and operated and not corporate or Wall St owned. He knew that there was a better way. He gives credit for this vision and inspiration to his wife, who is a doctor and works with children with autism, to bring care and joy to the lives of others.
Tammy Meyers
Tammy Meyers is the Executive Director of Cotter House Worthington. Her love for the elderly began when she was a teenager caring for her grandfather. Tammy began her healthcare profession as a nursing assistant in a nursing home and decided early on that "every grandma and grandpa" needs their environment filled with love and compassion. After years of helping seniors’ rehab to go home, Tammy realized she wanted her focus to be on helping those that couldn't go home live their best life. While working in Assisted Living and Dementia Care for the last several years, Tammy has prayed for a cure and is dedicated to enhancing the lives of those with dementia and memory loss by embracing them wherever they are in their journey.
Amber Waterhouse
My name is Amber Waterhouse and I am the Director of House Affairs here at Cotter House Worthington. I have been in senior care for over 3 years and had the pleasure of working with many amazing residents, families, and caregivers in finding the best fit for their loved ones. I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as an associates degree in business administration, both from Strayer University in Virginia. My passion for taking care of people has come from growing up in a big family of people who always put forth their best effort in helping those around them and I am glad to be able to pass that on.
Aleks Siano
My name is Aleks Siano and I am the Outreach Director here at Cotter House Worthington. I have been with the company for over 2 years but have had the pleasure of being a family friend and watch the community being built. Prior to Cotter House, I worked as a STAT nurse at The James Cancer Hospital where I found my love for taking care of people. It fills my cup to be a resource for families and make a difference in the lives of our residents in the last season of their life. It is truly a privilege to be a part of that.
Casie Gilson
Casie Gilson is the Inreach Director at Cotter House Worthington, Casie’s journey in Dementia Care started because she enjoys taking care of others. Her mother taught her when she was very young that it is important to take care of those who need it, especially those in their last days. Casie learned elder care from the best teacher, her mother, she helped care for her great grandmother. Over the years Casie has cared for children and elders alike, with love and compassion. After 22 years in a sales coordinator position for a sign business, it was time for a change. She joined the Cotter team as an aide in 2020 just before the pandemic and has found her way as a part of the Resource Team, making sure once the residents move in they have what they need while they are here and until they no longer need us. Casie feels that each day is another day to learn something new from those she works with and those she cares for, “my residents teach me my most beneficial lessons”. She loves what she does and hopes its’s enough to help.

Bob Doherty
Bob Doherty, Regional Maintenance Director, has worked in the senior living field since 1988. Bob has experienced all different levels of senior living and has worked with Memory Care residents since 2010. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family, being outdoors, tinkering with his old (1968) truck and going to concerts. He notes that working with seniors fighting dementia has been the most rewarding experience of his career.
Kimberly Gumble
Kimberly Gumble is the Life Enrichment Director at Cotter House Worthington; she assists with many aspects of our Life Enrichment department. Kimberly is currently finishing her Environmental Science degree. Her job at Cotter House consist of many leadership roles but most importantly to her is the quality time spent with our residents helping them to live their best lives. One interesting fact of what brought Kim to Cotter House was her grandpa. She had to find a place that would meet all of his needs and, of course, had to be the best. After touring several communities in Central Ohio, Cotter House Worthington was the obvious answers. Kim knew from the moment they moved grandpa into Cotter House that she wanted to be part of the Cotter Crew, and here she is almost two years later helping to lead our amazing Life Enrichment team. We are proud of Kim and her accomplishments and influence on our care.
